Stunfest '06 : 3 Hit Combo strikes back!

May 13-14, the Rennes fighting games club 3 Hit Combo is going to organize the second edition of the « Stunfest ». For those who were not there in 2005, Stunfest is a fighting games competition with players coming from all over France. We're trying to make the 2006 edition as good as possible! You'll be able to play on the newest arcade fighting games on real japanese arcade cabs: Street Fighter 3.3, Super X, Zero 3, Spectral VS Generation, Guilty Slash, KOF XI, Ken, CVS 2, NGBC, MOTW and many more unknown or older games like Mortal Kombat 2, Killer Instinct, shooting games like Pro Gear, Shikigami No Shiro, EspGaluda 2... There will also be some racing games with the « 75 of Nurburgring », a12 hour race in team on Forza Motorsport. Music games are there too: DDR, ParaPara, Donkey Konga, Pop'n'Music and more.
So that's it for the planning, now you have to know that Stunfest is one of the biggest tournaments in France. It is an official FFJC level 1 competition, the highest level currently, with the best players on all games. Moreover, cash prize tournaments are being held on saturday evening on Street Fighter 3.3 (CPS-3), Tekken 5, Soulcalibur and KOF 2K2 (MVS). A special event, « the 24H of KOF » will allow you to play every KOF game from '94 to XI in a crazy tournament.
Last things to know, the entry is totally free, you will only have to pay for the tournaments. Everything will be available for eating, resting and having a drink. Since it is a non-stop 30 hour event, don't think too much about sleeping, the best surprises may happen during the night... The most brave of you gamers will stay and play Mortal Kombat or Breakers Revenge all over the night, but for those who are not going to come, you will only read at the end of videos « You had to be there... »
